Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Cabane des Vignettes
You meet with your guide in the morning for equipment check and a quick briefing in Chamonix. You then transfer to the village Arolla in Switzerland. If you're joining from our Haute Route West Trek and are already in Arolla, your guide will meet you there. You will then hike up to the Vignettes mountain hut where you'll spend the night. Training is provided as necessary on the way to the hut.
Day 2: Pigne d'Arolla summit
From the Vignettes hut, you set off for the summit. The route from the hut to the summit is is snow/glacier walking and is not technical. You return by the same route, via the Vignettes hut, to the village of Arolla and transfer back to Chamonix.
Note: The two day itinerary above is only suitable if you arrive acclimatised, for instance if you have just completed our Walker's Haute Route West trek.If you are not already acclimatised, we highly recommend that you add a day or two of trekking or mountaineering with one of our guides prior to the Pigne d'Arolla Climb.

Suitable for acclimatised and experienced trekkers with an adventurous spirit. No previous mountaineering or climbing experience is necessary.

- 1x night in mountain hut

- Travel to/from Chamonix
- Lunches, snacks, drinks and meals not mentioned above.
- Personal climbing equipment
