Booking Procedure

Step by step:


To book a trip with Alpine Treks you need to do the following:


  1. 1.Choose the trip that you are interested in. Make sure that there are available spaces on the tour and that it is suitable for your experience and aspirations. If you are in any doubt about any of this then please don’t hesitate to contact us.


  1. 2.Fill out our Booking Form. If you are using our downloadable form, remember to sign it before returning it to us. Also, remember to read our Booking Conditions. Our Booking Form and Booking Conditions are available in the Booking section.


  1. 3.Pay a deposit. A deposit of 50% of the trips value is required at the time of booking. Although, for trips costing less than €200 euros we require full payment at the time of booking.


  1. Payments should be made in Euros. In certain circumstances we can accept payments in British Pounds. When pounds are accepted, we will inform you about the amount, which will be determined by our bank’s exchange rate. Payments can be made via bank transfer or cheque. Please contact us to obtain bank account details.


  3. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable so we recommend you take out cancellation insurance in case you are unable to go on the trip.


  1. 4.Once we have received the above, we will send you a formal booking confirmation and any further trip information.


  1. 5.Eight weeks before the start of your trip, you need to pay the remainder of the trip fee.


  1. 6.At the time of making the final payment, you also need to send us a photocopy of your insurance certificate.



Discounts available


We offer a 5% discount on all guided trips for returning clients (although not in conjunction with our other discounts).


We offer discounts on trips with the aim of raising money for registered charities. Please contact us to discuss eligibility.


We offer generous discounts when 3 or more people book together on our scheduled group trips:

  1. •If 3 or 4 people book together for the same trip we offer a 5% discount.

  2. •If 5 or 6 people book together for the same trip we offer a 10% discount.

  3. •If 7 or more people book together for the same trip we offer a 15% discount.


Please note that these group discounts only apply to our scheduled group trips, where booking and full payment is made together. These discounts do not apply to any other trips such as tailor made trips, individual guiding and snowshoeing trips where specific rates apply.
