Alpine Treks can organise bespoke and privately guided outings ranging from half-day walks to trekking tours lasting a week or more.

On a tailor made trip you are not in a large group with people you don’t know and there is no risk of the trip being too long and hard or too short and easy. You chose the size of your group, when you want to go, how far you want to go, how long you want to go for and how often you want to stop for a drink or to take a picture.

We will tailor your trip to fit your individual needs and aspirations, so you don’t need to worry about trip planning and organisation, saving you hours of research on the internet and in front of guide books and maps and avoiding disappointments. You will have your own personal guide so you don’t need to do any navigation or worry about weather, conditions and safety aspects. All you need to do is arrive in the Alps and enjoy the great walking, the fresh mountain air and the stunning scenery.

All our guides and leaders are legally certified to work in the Alps, which is your assurance that you benefit from expert knowledge and high safety standards. Your trip should not just be about the walking, so our leaders will be able to educate on things relevant to the area such as local culture, traditions, flora and fauna. Our leaders will also be able to teach you mountain skills such as navigation, expedition skills and how to move safely on steep ground.

Even for small groups, a tailor made trip often ends up cheaper than joining a pre-organised trip and the possibilities are endless. We have listed some of our favourite walks and tours below to wet your appetite:

Day-walks

Prices for privately guided walks and trekking tours

A typical day will start around 9.00 and finish at around 16.00. A half day can be morning or afternoon and typically lasts 3-4 hours. Prices are quoted as guide lines as itineraries do vary in length and severity so please contact us to get a competitive quote.

1-4 persons: €200.00                                   1-4 persons: € 110.00

5+ persons: +€30.00 p.p.                             5+ persons: +€15.00 p.p.

E.g. for a group of 4 people that would work out as just €50.00 per person per day.
